1. Service description
OC Foundry provides a character idea generator and optional paid character bible PDFs. The free generator is available to anyone without registration.
2. Character content ownership
Characters generated by OC Foundry are provided as creative starting points. You are free to use them in any way for your own creative work: illustrations, stories, games, comics, fashion design, and so on. You cannot claim to own the specific text generated (since it may be similar to text generated for others), but characters you develop from these starting points are yours.
3. Purchases and payments
Character bible PDFs are sold for a one-time fee. Payments are processed securely through Razorpay. Prices are in GBP unless otherwise noted.
4. Refund policy
Because character bibles are delivered instantly as digital downloads, all sales are final. However, if you experience a technical issue that prevents you from receiving your purchased PDF, please contact us and we will resolve it promptly.
5. Acceptable use
You agree to use OC Foundry lawfully. You may not:
- Attempt to circumvent payment systems
- Scrape or automate the generator to extract content in bulk
- Use the service to harass, defame, or harm others
- Reverse engineer or copy the underlying content pools for commercial redistribution
6. Intellectual property
The OC Foundry brand, website design, code, content pools, and imagery are the property of OC Foundry. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute these without permission.
7. Third-party services
We use third-party services (Razorpay, Vercel, GitHub, Resend, Google AdSense) to operate our website. Their respective terms and policies also apply when you use OC Foundry.
8. Disclaimers
OC Foundry is provided "as is." We make no guarantees about service availability, generated content quality, or fitness for a particular purpose. Character content is randomly generated and may occasionally produce unexpected results.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, OC Foundry and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the past 12 months.
10. Changes to service
We may modify or discontinue features at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
